EA Polish Swacthes & Review

Hello everyone! For today's post I'm going to be sharing with you my swatches and review of indie polish brand EA Polish. I've been following EA Polish on Instagram for quite some time. Therefore, when CEO/Founder Ellyse contacted me to do a review for the company, I was very excited! What intrigued me the most about EA Polish is how it came about. After becoming a mother, Ellyse's friends and family started inquiring about her formally fabulous nails. Not only did Ellyse decided to do something about it, she started her own nail polish company. If anyone knows anything about the joys and sometimes woes of motherhood, is me. I'm pretty sure some of you guys can relate. Being a mom can be challenging at times, we have a 1,000 things to do and so little time to get them done. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being a wife and a mother. However, it can become overwhelming to the point where you began to neglect the simple things in life. For example, getting your hair done, going to dinner with your girlfriends, or painting your nails. You don't have to be a mother to find yourself in a rut, it can happen to anyone. With that being said, I started painting my nails during my free time. Over time I noticed how good I felt after painting my nails. How can something so simple be so empowering? Well here's one reason why. According to researchers, studies have revealed correlations between color and our emotional responses. For instance, red releases emotions such as excitement, passion, and intensity. Have you ever worn red polish and suddenly felt like you could conquer the world? EA Polish is more than just about wearing a pretty color on your nails, its about the signification of the color. There's no reason why we have to conquer the world with chipped nails, right? That's why EA Polish puts a motivating message on every bottle of their nail polish, reminding women to chase their dreams. Another thing that I love about this brand is that it's fast drying, non-toxic, and cruelty free. Personally, I enjoy painting my nails at home compared to going to a salon. But what makes painting your nails even more enjoyable is when you have polish that dries in three minutes. Yeah that's right, three minutes! Having fast drying polish gives you more time to tend to the little ones, go to the gym, hang out with the girls, or even work on your business plan. To purchase and find out more about EA Polish visit them on their website

Here's how my nail mail arrived. It came in a white box(not shown). When I opened the box I thought I heard the angels singing. The polish was wrapped in beautiful gold wrapping  paper with EA Polish labeling. Each polish was placed individually in beautiful gold mesh bags(you can see them sticking out a bit of the gold wrapping paper) and wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure that your polish makes it safely to your door.

These are the polishes that Ellyse chose for me to review. The polishes sent to me are priced at $8.00 dollars per nail polish. Just click on the names of each polish for direct link to the EA Polish website. From left to right is Party Time, Confidence, Twenty Four Seven, and F.A.I. L. Below I have a picture for each swatch and a picture of each color with nail art. Make sure you check out the inspiring messages on the back of each polish. Comment down below on which one is your favorite.

Party Time

This shade is perfect for a girls night out on the town. Party Time is a bright pink polish. When your outside you'll notice that this polish becomes neon in the sun and closer to fuchsia in the shade. Although Party Time is opaque in two coats, I applied three thin coats(no typical reason, sometimes I just like to do this) and a clear top coat. Seeing that Party Time is such a fun shade, I decided to do some spunky, green and gold stamping nail art.

Other Products Used: Gold Plated-Milani, stamping plate BP-L006,
and Opus One-Bundle Monster

Confidence is a lovely nude shade. Although some people shy away from nude colors, I love them! Sometimes its nice to wear a natural color that brings out your skin tone. Personally when I wear a nude polish, I feel like I'm letting people know that I'm confident in my own skin. Confidence was opaque in two coats and I topped it off with a clear top coat. As a result of this polish being called confidence, I decided to make a bold statement and wore this fabulous nail art jewelry that covered my whole nail.

Other Products Used: Stamping plate BP-17 and black stamping polish-Born Pretty,
nail art jewelry-Bundle Monster, and Do You Boo!-China Glaze

Twenty Four Seven

Twenty Four Seven is a deep burgundy polish. Just look at this one coater, isn't it gorgeous? Twenty Four Seven has such a sophisticated look, this polish is definitely for the woman who's working 24/7 on her goals. Twenty Four Seven was opaque in one coat and I applied a clear top coat. To bring out the sophistication even more, I chose a classy silver nail art design. Being classy doesn't mean you can't spice it up a bit, check out the bling on my middle finger.

Other Products Used: Stamping plate BP-15 and silver stamping polish-Born Pretty,
and nail art jewelry-Bundle Monster

F.A.I.L is a purple metallic creme polish. As you can see this shade is breathtaking. If you look at it closely in the light, you can see tiny specks of blue and fuchsia. Take a look at the message on the back of the polish, it states "Failure is a successful attempt to learning". I found this message to be very inspiring. I decided to make a message of my own through my graffiti stamping nail art. F.A.I.L was opaque in two coats and I applied a clear top coat.

Dream, Polish, Love, and Beauty!
Other products used: Stamping plate BM-XL207-Bundle Monster
and white stamping polish-Born Pretty

JLB Nail Polish Swatches & Review

Hey guys! Today I have my swatches and review of the 4 piece nail lacquer collection set by JLB Cosmetics. I haven't heard of or tried this brand before. While doing research on this company, I found very little information on them. Therefore, I will just get on with the review. I got this polish set from Ross for $5.99. I normally stay away from buying nail polish sets like these because I'm always skeptical of the quality. When I saw how cute these little polish bottles were I thought I would give them a try. I must admit I've never seen nail polish bottles like these before, they remind me of perfume bottles. Although, they are pleasing to the eye the brushes were a little uncomfortable to use. The brush was short and the top of it felt like a door knob. As a result, it was kind of hard to get a good grip on it. But, I've had more difficult times while painting my nails. In addition, these polishes had a slightly strong smell, but after a while it went away. Howeve…

Nail Therapy? Let's get Personal!

Hey guys! welcome to my blog. I started this blog a year ago along with when I first started Instagram(IG). I was feeling a little overwhelmed with the blog and my IG page, so I decided to just focus on having fun with IG. Its been almost a year later and let me tell you, its been one heck of a ride. I have had so much fun meeting nice people, participating in nail art challenges, and experimenting with new nail art techniques. I never knew there were so many other people out there like me who loves nail polish. Some people may wonder why would any one love nail polish so much. Well, I love nail polish because there's not a size on the bottle, I don't have to squeeze into it, it just goes right on my nail. I wear nail polish because it may be a special occasion or maybe it just makes me feel relaxed after a long day of taking care of my son and cleaning the house. Here is a picture of some nail art that I did on January 14, 2016. My son Malachi had to have surgery on the next …
