Sephora by OPI 5 Peice Nail Polish Collction Set

Today I have my review and swatches for Sephora by OPI Nail Polish Collection Set. I bought these polishes from Amazon for $13.99. I been wanting to try this brand of polish for a while. When I was trying to do some research on this polish I found very little information. That could be due to the fact that this line was discontinued back in 2013. I must admit though, I didn't quite understand why Sephora would need to partnered with OPI. In my opinion, Sephora is such a major beauty brand, why wouldn't they make their own polish line. And that's exactly what they did. However, it seems that some of the nail addicts disapproved of this decision. In 2013 Sephora  launched their own polish line called Formula X. Although, Sephora by OPI has been discontinued you can still find it on different Internet sites and in some stores such as Big Lots. Now for my review, I have to say that I wasn't sure at first of how I felt about these polishes. I thought the nail polish bottle alone looked a little bulky. On the other hand, the bulkiness of the handle helped me to have an easier grip. The thickness of the handle felt very comfortable and steady compared to others. Some times these polish bottles are so fancy you can't even get a good grip on the handle to paint your nails. But we all know looks doesn't matter but its what's on the inside that really counts. Are we still talking about nail polish here? Anyways, the consistency of the nail polish is very thin and semi opaque. Four out of five polishes needed at least three coats. You will definitely need a quick dry top coat to speed up the drying process. Although, these polishes were thin and most of them needed three coats. They looked so beautiful on my nails. I mean just look at them, so pretty! So maybe they intended for the formula to be like this on purpose. You can choose how light or dark you want the shade to be. Which is pretty cool to me. Over all, I liked this polish and I would purchase more in the future.

It's Bouquet With Me

It's Bouquet With Me is a tinted berry shade polish filled with pink and silver glitter. I applied three coats and topped it off with a clear top coat. This polish would also look pretty on top of another shade such as black.

Ms. Can't Be Wrong

Ms. Can't Be Wrong is a pink shimmery creme polish. I applied two coats and topped if off with a clear top coat. This polish is perfect for a date night with Mr. Right.

Mr. Right Now

Mr. Right Now is a dark burgundy polish. I applied three coats and topped it off with a clear top coat. As I was painting my nails I felt like drinking a cup of hot chocolate. This polish is perfect for winter or fall.

IM Beauty

I'm Beauty is a pastel yellow polish. I used a clear base coat. Then I applied three coats and topped it off with a clear top coat. This polish is perfect for summer or spring.

A True Romantic

A true romantic is a very soft pink polish. It's extremely thin. I applied three thick coats and topped it off with a clear top coat. In my opinion, this polish is perfect for any time of the year.

JLB Nail Polish Swatches & Review

Hey guys! Today I have my swatches and review of the 4 piece nail lacquer collection set by JLB Cosmetics. I haven't heard of or tried this brand before. While doing research on this company, I found very little information on them. Therefore, I will just get on with the review. I got this polish set from Ross for $5.99. I normally stay away from buying nail polish sets like these because I'm always skeptical of the quality. When I saw how cute these little polish bottles were I thought I would give them a try. I must admit I've never seen nail polish bottles like these before, they remind me of perfume bottles. Although, they are pleasing to the eye the brushes were a little uncomfortable to use. The brush was short and the top of it felt like a door knob. As a result, it was kind of hard to get a good grip on it. But, I've had more difficult times while painting my nails. In addition, these polishes had a slightly strong smell, but after a while it went away. Howeve…

EA Polish Swacthes & Review

Hello everyone! For today's post I'm going to be sharing with you my swatches and review of indie polish brand EA Polish. I've been following EA Polish on Instagram for quite some time. Therefore, when CEO/Founder Ellyse contacted me to do a review for the company, I was very excited! What intrigued me the most about EA Polish is how it came about. After becoming a mother, Ellyse's friends and family started inquiring about her formally fabulous nails. Not only did Ellyse decided to do something about it, she started her own nail polish company. If anyone knows anything about the joys and sometimes woes of motherhood, is me. I'm pretty sure some of you guys can relate. Being a mom can be challenging at times, we have a 1,000 things to do and so little time to get them done. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being a wife and a mother. However, it can become overwhelming to the point where you began to neglect the simple things in life. For example, getting your hair d…

Nail Therapy? Let's get Personal!

Hey guys! welcome to my blog. I started this blog a year ago along with when I first started Instagram(IG). I was feeling a little overwhelmed with the blog and my IG page, so I decided to just focus on having fun with IG. Its been almost a year later and let me tell you, its been one heck of a ride. I have had so much fun meeting nice people, participating in nail art challenges, and experimenting with new nail art techniques. I never knew there were so many other people out there like me who loves nail polish. Some people may wonder why would any one love nail polish so much. Well, I love nail polish because there's not a size on the bottle, I don't have to squeeze into it, it just goes right on my nail. I wear nail polish because it may be a special occasion or maybe it just makes me feel relaxed after a long day of taking care of my son and cleaning the house. Here is a picture of some nail art that I did on January 14, 2016. My son Malachi had to have surgery on the next …
